Different, Similar, The Same khác nhau thế nào ?

Different nghĩa là khác, không giống. Chúng ta có 2 cách dùng Different:

1. Different + Danh từ (noun):

Hanoi and Danang are different places.

Linh and Phuong have different ideas about writing the report.

We have different subjects on Monday.

2. Different + From:

Hanoi is different from Danang.

Phuong’s ideas about writing the report are different from Linh’s.

My subjects on Monday are different from yours.

Similar nghĩa là tương tự, khá giống nhau. Có 2 cách dùng Similar:

1. Similar + Danh từ (noun): Twitter and Facebook are similar services.

2. Similar + To: Linh’s ideas about writing the report are similar to Phuong’s.

The same nghĩa là giống hệt nhau. Chúng ta có 3 cách sử dụng The same:

1. The same + Danh từ (noun): Ho Chi Minh and Uncle Ho are the same people.

2. The same + as: Phuong’s idea is the same as mine.

3. The same + Danh từ + as: Phuong has the same book as I have.
