Lease vs Rent

Cách dùng của Hire, Rent và Lease nghĩa tiếng Việt chung là "thuê" nhưng cách dùng thì có khác nhau 1 chút chúng ta nên so sánh thành cặp "rent vs lease" và "rent vs hire" thứ nhất, "rent vs lease":

rent là thuê đồ gì đó trong thời gian ngắn (tính theo giờ hoặc ngày), có thể kéo dài thời gian thuê hoặc hủy việc thuê mà không mất phí

Lease là thuê dài hạn (tính theo năm), là việc phải có sắp xếp, đăng ký cố định, phải mất phí đặt cọc nếu hủy việc thuê

Thứ hai, "rent vs hire"

rent là thuê đồ gì và mình tự quyền sử dụng hire là thuê đồ và để người khác làm hộ

eg: hire a car là thuê ô tô có người lái, hoặc các taxi hay có biển "for hire",

rent a suit chứ không thể nói hire a suit

 

Lease vs Rent
